Cryo-milling was used to make calcia stabilized zirconia (CSZ) powders with 9 mol%, 12 and 15 mol% of calcia. Powder X-ray diffraction done examine the phase growth in prepared over course 80h mechanical alloying (MA) cryogenic environment at 300rpm. The calcined were hydraulically pressed into cylindrical shaped sensor elements a uniaxial press then sintered for 4h 1400°C. microstructure pellets studied using Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM).
